The HFS 4080 F Advance Knuth flat metal grinding machine is designed for precision machining of flat surfaces where high dimensional accuracy, quality surface finish and stable operation in intensive production environments are required. This model is an upgraded version of the proven HFS series, tailored for users who no longer need the functionality of a manual machine, but do not require full CNC control. The Siemens PLC control with touchscreen allows easy programming of automatic grinding cycles, while the vertical Z-axis controlled by a servo motor and a ball screw ensures accurate and repeatable grinding wheel feed. The magnetic clamping plate with integrated demagnetisation function, the robust cast iron construction and the extended standard equipment allow efficient operation in both toolmaking and industrial metalworking plants.
