Air compressors

Air compressors provide compressed air for service areas, tyre service centres, production facilities, technical maintenance areas and garage use. They are used with pneumatic tools, tyre inflation equipment, blow guns, cleaning tasks, painting work and other everyday service needs.

This section includes reciprocating compressors, screw compressors, oil-free air compressors, mobile compressors and compressor accessories. The right solution depends on workload, required air flow, working pressure, air tank capacity, power supply requirements and compressed air quality.

Compressed air equipment for service, production and maintenance work

An air compressor should not be chosen by price or power alone. It is important to know which tools or machines will be connected, how long the compressor will run during one work cycle and how stable the air supply needs to be.

For simple and shorter tasks, a reciprocating or oil-free compressor may be enough. For regular use, longer work cycles or several work areas at the same time, screw compressors or a compressor system with suitable accessories should be considered.

A compressed air system often needs more than the compressor itself. Pressure tanks, air dryers, filters, regulators, hoses and other accessories help maintain stable air supply and adapt the system to a specific type of work.

Air compressor types and accessories

  • Reciprocating compressors for periodic and medium-load tasks in service areas, companies or garages.
  • Screw compressors for regular use and stable compressed air supply during longer work cycles.
  • Oil-free air compressors for tasks where cleaner compressed air supply and lower oil contamination risk are important.
  • Mobile air compressors for on-site work, technical maintenance and situations where the compressor must be moved between different work areas.
  • Compressor accessories for completing, maintaining and adapting compressed air systems to the required work setup.

The compressor accessories section also includes other accessories for air compressors, pressure tanks for air compressors and air dryers for compressors.

Air compressors are often used together with pneumatic tools, pneumatic guns and accessories or painting tools. If an air compressor is being planned together with other equipment, visit the repair shop equipment section.
